How to choose an office water dispenser in Thailand.

Hot water for coffee, cold water after the commute, and no more 19-litre gallons in the pantry. Eight questions to ask before you choose, for offices of any size, from Bangkok to the islands.

The short answer.

For most offices in Thailand, the right water dispenser is a reverse osmosis system connected to the pantry water line: it filters tap water, adds minerals back and serves it hot and cold, with no gallons to order or lift. Where there is no line, or the lease does not allow plumbing work, an atmospheric water generator that only needs a socket does the same job from the air.

Minairal installs both: Pure on the water line and Air from the air, with free-flow stations sized to the headcount on each floor. Its technicians install and service offices in eight cities, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Phuket included, with a 4-hour average response.

Goodbye to the 19-litre gallons.

At two litres per person per day, counted every day of the year, an office of fifty people goes through about 37 gallons of 19 litres a week. Each one is ordered, received, lifted onto the dispenser, stored and sent back empty.

A system on the pantry line ends all of it. A Pure system is installed in under an hour, the team is trained on the spot, and the gallon order can stop the next day. The full comparison is in water delivery vs an on-site drinking water system.

What changes for the team.

Water on tap, hot or cold, as often as anyone wants it. No rationing the last gallon on a Friday afternoon, no stack of empties by the door, no one waiting in for the delivery truck.

People refill their own glass or bottle, so the office stops buying plastic for its own staff. It is a small daily change that everyone sees, and a simple way to show that the company takes its footprint seriously.

Questions about office water dispensers.

More answers on the FAQ page and on water systems for offices.

What is the best water dispenser for an office in Thailand?

For most offices, a reverse osmosis water dispenser connected to the pantry water line, with hot and cold water and minerals added back. Where there is no line or the lease does not allow plumbing work, an atmospheric water generator that only needs a socket is the alternative.

Do we need plumbing work to install an RO water filter in the office?

Not usually. A Minairal Pure system connects to the existing pantry line in under an hour. Where there is no line, an Air system is simply plugged in.

How many water dispensers does an office of fifty people need?

It depends on the floors, the layout and the pantry, so it is set at the site assessment. The usual approach is one free-flow station per floor or per group of desks, so nobody has to cross the building for water.

Who maintains the office water dispenser?

Minairal technicians change the filters on schedule and respond to a fault in 4 hours on average, Monday to Saturday, in English and Thai.

Can an office rent a water dispenser?

Yes. Every Air and Pure machine can be rented for 6 months or 1 year, with maintenance and filters included. Pure systems can also be taken on lease-to-own over 3, 5 or 7 years, and every purchase comes with a one-year warranty.

Do you install office water dispensers in Bangkok and Chiang Mai?

Yes. Minairal technicians install and service offices in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Krabi, as well as around our stores in Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Phuket and Hua Hin. In Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Krabi, we start with a site assessment.
