Drinking water in Chiang Mai.
Mains water in Thailand is not intended to be drunk at the tap. Depending on the season it can carry chlorine and its by-products, sediment and heavy metals, and wherever the network is old or intermittent there is a bacteriological risk.
In Chiang Mai, as across the country, the usual answer is a jug delivery or a pack of bottles. Both move the problem rather than solving it: quality depends on the bottler and on storage, and every container has to be ordered, carried, stored and thrown away.

Do you have a store in Chiang Mai?
No. Minairal technicians work in Chiang Mai, but our four stores are in Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Phuket and Hua Hin. The team comes to your site for the assessment, the installation and every maintenance visit, and you can reach us by phone, WhatsApp or email in English and Thai.
Can we rent a water dispenser or a water filter in Chiang Mai?
Yes. Every system can be rented or leased on a 2, 5 or 7-year contract, with the machine covered for the whole term, or bought with a one-year warranty. The formula is set out after the site assessment.
Do you deliver drinking water in Chiang Mai?
No. Instead of delivering jugs, Minairal installs a water dispenser that makes mineral-enriched drinking water on your site, from the water line or from the air. Jug and bottle deliveries stop.
Will an air-to-water system work in Chiang Mai?
Air systems work between 30% and 80% relative humidity, and their outputs are averages for that range at an average temperature of 25°C. Chiang Mai has a marked dry season, so the site assessment checks whether Air suits your site. A Pure system on the water line does not depend on humidity.
